As the social media coordinator at Agency Habitat, I build monthly reports using data from Sprinklr and Meta Business Suite and inform my colleagues on social strategy and how to adapt content to suit an ever-changing social media landscape. I also perform in-depth social media audits and create short-form video content. My clients include about-face, Victory Park, The Hill, and 7-Eleven Franchising.
Social Media Intern
February - April 2024
As a Social Media Intern at Agency Habitat, I was responsible for posting and community management on client and internal social media accounts both natively and using Sprinklr. I create and present monthly reports for social clients using data from Meta Business Suite. In addition to these tasks, I create short-form video content for a variety of clients in retail, restaurant and financial industries.
Content Creation Intern
June 2023 - August 2023
As the Content Creation Intern at Agency Habitat, I filmed and edited social content informed by the latest industry best practices and emerging trends. I successfully created Instagram Reels for a diverse range of nine brands, including our own agency and production studio. I increased viewership on Agency Habitat’s TikTok by 265%, coupled with a noteworthy 335% surge in likes. Furthermore, I revitalized Lowtown Studio’s dormant TikTok account, which had remained inactive for over a year. This included leading a kickoff meeting, concepting and planning, filming and editing, and overseeing subsequent posting and community management. I was also in charge of developing the organic social strategy and content creation for our client, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.
2023 Intern Class
Over the course of 9 weeks, the summer interns at Agency Habitat were given the task of creating an advertising campaign for the Fort Worth Botanic Garden with the goal of increasing membership sales. As the content creation intern, I was responsible for developing the organic social strategy for the Garden. This included 11 Instagram posts for the month of August 2023, including five Reels, four static posts and two carousels. Four of these posts doubled as paid ads. Along with the other content creation intern, I developed the concept and shot list for each post and filmed and edited every Reel.
Fort Worth Botanic Garden
See what the team came up with for the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. After viewing the pitch, they chose concept one, and we got to work. My responsibility for this presentation was to develop the organic social strategy (slides 27 - 32).
After the client chose their concept, we had just a few weeks to create the deliverables. My role included developing the final content calendar and concepting and filming the Reels (slides 7 - 12). I learned how to make a shotlist and thoroughly plan every Reel. I provided the Botanic Garden with five Reels to be posted throughout August, and two additional Reels for them to use as they please.
